Woman Crashes Car in High-Speed Accident on National Road 6

[CAMBODIA NEWS] A high-speed collision occurred on National Road 6 in Phnom Penh, resulting in one vehicle overturning and another sustaining damage. The incident, involving two female drivers, took place on the evening of August 5, 2024.



On August 5, 2024, at approximately 6:30 PM, a serious traffic accident occurred on National Road 6 in Chroy Changvar district, Phnom Penh. The incident involved two vehicles and resulted in one car overturning.

According to eyewitness reports, a woman driving a black Range Rover with Phnom Penh license plate 2AG-0928 was traveling south on National Road 6. The driver had stopped to drop off laundry when another vehicle, a white Toyota Raize with Phnom Penh license plate 2BY-4178, also driven by a woman, collided with the rear of the stationary Range Rover at high speed.

The impact caused minor damage to the rear of the Range Rover, while the Toyota Raize overturned. The driver of the Toyota Raize sustained injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Local authorities and traffic police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. They conducted measurements and moved both vehicles to a secure location pending further investigation and resolution of the matter.
