Mother in China Falls Into Escalator and Dies, Saving Son
China: A mother, shopping with her husband and son, falls into an escalator and dies, but saves her son. They were at Anliang department store in Jingzhou in the central province of Hubei, a Chinese department store.
Maintenance had just finished servicing the escalator and forgot to screw in the platform when they were finished, which caused the fatal accident.
All of this was caught on the department store's CCTV security cameras.

A woman has been killed after she plunged through an access cover of an escalator in a Chinese department store, thrusting her toddler to safety as she fell to her death.
Xiang Liujuan, 30, was holding her son in front of her as they went up the stairway on Saturday, the Wuhan Evening News said.......
