Truck Driver Electrocuted Driving through Overhead Wires

Cambodia News Kampong Speu: According to the Kampong Speu Provincial Police, at 10.12 am, on 16 March 2023, the driver of a truck died immediately after hitting a medium voltage cable pole with the top of the vehicle.
The accident happened near O'Krang Ambel Bridge. National Road No. 4, between km 38-39 Sla village, Vallis commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

According to witnesses, the driver of the animal feed truck was electrocuted when the truck hit the cable from the electric pole which landed on the metal truck and shocked the driver to death. RIP.

Shit happens, normally if you hit a cabe with your truck, or in this case with the tube to offload the animal-feed inside a silo, nothing really happens as long as you stay in your truck, the fatality mostly happens when the driver wants to get out to check wath happens and touches the handle-bars to get out of his cab, if he causious would have jumped out of his truck maybe nothing happened. One of my friends survived while he touched high voltage-wires with a tipper truck, he was standing outside when he touched it and when he walked to the hydraulic lever outside his cab, he was pulled towards it by the electricity and luckily he hit the lever and the tipper came down off the wires. He went with bad burn-wounds but two weeks after he was back on the road !! ??
Bad luck for this cambodian trucky !!

I thought a truck would be a safe space, as the lorry acts as a Faraday cage.
How did this happen?
