18 years ago Phuket .. destruction hit on boxing day

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Was in Kamala, Phuket when the electricity went out around 9 am, than my daughter came up telling me people were driving up on our yard asking if there was any way to get higher>
jumped on the motorcycle and drove the 1.5 kms to the beach an witnessed the destruction
