Only place in Oz where you can legally grow cannabis
I guess they'll be looking for seasonal workers, right ?
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 64158.htmlA company on a tiny island off the coast of Australia is exploiting a unique legal loophole that may allow it to grow and export up to ten tonnes of cannabis.
AusCann Group Holdings intends to grow between one to ten tonnes of medical cannabis on Norfolk Island, situated to the east of the Australian continent, from November next year.
The company is able to do so because although part of Australia – where the growth and distribution of weed remains illegal – Norfolk’s self-governing administration can grant a licence to legally export the drug.

This would be the mob that discovered in recent years that they actually couldn't legalise pedophilia when the AFP arrived on the island and started arresting people.

Well, in that case I retire my candidature. I thought this was a legit way of being employed for smoking pinecones; never mind, and another one bites the dust.StroppyChops wrote:This would be the mob that discovered in recent years that they actually couldn't legalise pedophilia when the AFP arrived on the island and started arresting people.

Just fly to Mexico, cross the boarder illegally, and head to Alaska, Washington State or Colorado. As an illegal you can get government money and housing, and use your welfare check to buy free pot. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
BTW/ A company in Washington State is now making single serve packets of weed infused coffee. Get your caffeine and weed fix at the same time. Gives Starbucks a while new meaning.

Too cold up there for me! (I'd stay in Mexico.)
OT, just seen that things are moving on Norfolk Island - on 12 May the Australian govt revoked the island's autonomy and are now going to run the place.
So, maybe no legal dope-growing, and they will now pay taxes, wear a helmet and stop driving drunk.
On the other hand, they will get subsidized health care and pensions.
In any case, for better or worse, the Australian govt is taking over.

Will that undo the inbreeding?
