A Cake for a good cause in Siem Reap !
Hi expats of SR ,
If you are looking for the perfect place to have a good coffee and wonderful french pastries , i have a new place for you : The coffee shop of the NGO Bayon Pastry school.
The Pastry school is a vocational training in pastry for underprivileged young women in Cambodia . Set up in 2014, the Pastry School strictly selects and trains each year , for free, aroung 20 young women. We also provide them with accommodation, food and all training material. The goal is to help them to find a stable and a well paid job at the end of the training .
To help to support the school, we created a coffee shop . Located in our peaceful garden in the heart of Sieam Reap , in Taphul village, the coffee shop offers tasty pastries freshly baked by our students , as well as delicious hot and cold coffees , teas and fresh drinks . A perfect place for breakfast or tea time !
You can find a range of fresh baked cakes made of natural and selected high quality ingrédients : Chocolate, marble, fruits , lemon and poppy seed , ginfer cinnamon , bayon banana , madeleines …Don’t miss our speciality : The french traditionnal financiers !
By enjoying our cakes, you support our action and give the opportunity to young women to come out of poverty .
See you soon in our garden !

Always good to see some social enterprise - all the best with your coffee shop.
