looking for a helper daily pay

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

looking for a helper daily pay

Post by pischa »

looking for an allround helper someone who is long time in Cambodia or is Khmer, any nationality welcome
you should not be shy to talk to strangers normal locals, beginners level Khmer would be handy too but no need too much.
in asia important so also here:
You are willing to clean yourself up a bit so for example go for a haircut and dress a bit more decent, and make sure your hands and nails look clean

working times usually afternoon but also morning sometimes
about 2-3 hours a day about 3 times a week.
somebody who I can build up trust with because the longer you stay the more I will pay.

Please write personal message and write shortly about yourself
where you from and why I should trust you.

Examples About the work:
We need someone who we can ask some simple tasks from time to time this could be
-picking up some documents and bring it to another person or shopkeeper
-checking internet for address and phone number then contact the person and arrange a visit.
-visiting shops and collect some money from the shopkeeper count it and bring it to another shop
-buy some goods and arrange payment

you can take a tuk tuk or motorbike so you don't need your own moto or something.
in the beginning you can think about 40-50$ for 2-3 hours work doing 1 or 2 little jobs which is relaxing work if done correct
later when we see all goes well we can trust you this can go up. We will pay you right away first visit.
and after every little job daily.

Shit, I was all set to apply until you stipulated that I "had to clean myself up a bit."
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

This might be a good opportunity for a University student. Can you work around the hours they study? For example, some students study in the evening, and could be available during the day.

Where are you located? Phnom Penh?

Do we assume they need good English? Some students speak good English.
## I thought I knew all the answers, but they changed all the questions. ##

Dear Mr. or Mrs. Pischa,

I would like to apply for the helper position you posted.
I noticed you chose a German flag for your profile, just like me.
If both of us are Germans, it would maybe make sense to write my "cover letter" in our common native tongue, or would you prefer me to apply for this job in English,
because your assistant or other employees need to be able to read my letter as well ?

Marcel Schnitzler
