Man Waving a Sword on National Road 2 Gets Arrested
Cambodia News, (Takeo province): According to the Kirivong District Police Inspectorate, the police forces were called to intervene on March 15, 2023 at 20:30pm, on National Road 2 in Ang Prasat village, Ang Prasat commune, Kirivong district, Takeo province.
Police arrested a suspect named Chheang Sarath, male, 32 years old, who was walking along National Road 2 while waving a long knife and shouting; this behavior frightened the local residents enough to call the police, who came to the village and took the man away for questioning.
However, after a preliminary enquiry, police say that the suspect is a drug user with mental health problems who had wandered away from his village (not far from the national road.) There is no cause for alarm and Kirivong District police are following the legal procedures.

Mmmh, so his lack of planning is the comforting news ?Yobbo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 4:43 amCEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 2:31 am
who had wandered away from his village (not far from the national road.) There is no cause for alarm!
But if he had some bad boy scheme (chasing a chicken, being annoying to resting tuktuks, purchasing a deck of card to play poker with crazy pals....) then it would be a serious concern, right ?
I wonder if a guy waving a gun would be a concern in, say, the US, before being checked as an addict and a nutjob ? I know it would in Frogland, but weapons are not allowed here anyway...
Come on everybody wave your arms in the air like you just don't care, see what happens...
