Re: Promocode for Free Tuk Tuk Rides (Whole Day)
Tuk Tuk rides are cheap in Phnom Penh plus TADA fare are also adjusted to be cheaper than other apps. Based on the fare of the furthest destination on other apps, it costs only 15000 riels. Since we already adjust fare to be cheaper, it won't be a problem for the free ride. You can try tomorrow
Re: Promocode for Free Tuk Tuk Rides (Whole Day)
I appreciate your self-promotion, but cheap is not the same as free. False advertising, I'm sure the government will be all over you for that!!NavyChan wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 3:00 pm Tuk Tuk rides are cheap in Phnom Penh plus TADA fare are also adjusted to be cheaper than other apps. Grab is the best and cheapest tuktuk option currently.

Please don't get me wrong. I only want to share news. Before the booking, users can apply code. If it doesn't show 0 as fare, users can leave the app. There is no advertising here because the booking won't be made unless you see that the fare is really zero and decide to book.

Singapore ride-hailing app Tada launches in Cambodia
4 hours ago
SINGAPORE - Tada, a blockchain-based application by Singapore firm MVL Foundation, was launched in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
MVL signed a memorandum of understanding with Pi Pay, a digital wallet and lifestyle application based in Cambodia. Pi Pay and Alipay will be integrated onto the Tada application in Cambodia to allow for seamless cashless transactions.
"This collaboration with Tada is another step forward for us as the growth of ride-hailing is encouraging more and more Cambodians to adopt cashless payments in the digital era," said Tomas Pokorny, CEO of Pi Pay.
Tada is powered by blockchain technology, where key mobility data such as transactions, movements, accidents and maintenance of people and vehicles are recorded and connected in a single MVL ecosystem. The ride-hailing service is present in Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia with more than 30,000 drivers and 230,000 users.

I've noticed stickers for a couple more tuk tuk apps recently: Zelo and Smartgo. Has anyone tried either?

Re: Promocode for Free Tuk Tuk Rides (Whole Day)
From the 3 test fares that I looked at it is exactly the same price as Grab, slightly cheaper than Pass app & Taxi Phumi.
The benefit of Grab being constant promotions & also fixed fee, so it doesn't matter if the driver 'accidentally' drives in the wrong direction at first or chooses a longer route.
The app feels very similar to Grab with the incentives (Grab = Rewards)
Seem to be coming to the market quite late, without offering anything unique.
Also a transaction fee for using card payments, @NavyChan how much is this?
Not too sure how it will work with PiPay as that is one of the most clunky cashless payment systems there are.
The map and locations do load unusually quickly so that is one positive, which makes me think I will give it a go.
Good luck.
