Are sexpats paedophiles? I'm not sure that's true. It's the assumption that every white guy in Cambodia is banging children that is ugly. There are people paying for sex everywhere on earth (probably in North Korea too).

Charities like APLE rely on funding from overseas donors; they have to promote the child molestor image of this nation - the truth is, according to the UN, Nepal is the number one holiday/long-term destination for kiddy-fiddlers today - Cambodia's crack down on child abuse by foreigners means that a Khmer kid who is molested is 99.999% likely to be molested by another Khmer.

hahhaha my daughter, born and raised here, and is half thai, have had had some unusual experiences over the years when we traveled thru Thailand, Laos, Cambodia & Singapore, BUT NEVER did someone talk about us ( that i heard) like the article talks about
or had any cab driver say anything like reported.

I am not doubting you. Even at big names establishments there's credit limit they are giving out to customers. How did he pull that off?

Truth of the matter is Cambodia is still a sex destination for tourists. Of course, like already mentioned sexpats dont equate to paedos. But lets be honest here, given the opportunity most will jump at the chance. Having a biological daughter being born here and raise here and in their teenage years are still rare in Cambodia, so if you have an image like Minko and at his age going out with Asianish looking adolescent females being starred at is to be expected.
