Cliffs - A middle class family of doctors. left their kids alone on holiday, while going out drinking. She disappeared, and many think they are responsible/ disposed of her. Some trolls abused them. Despite the fact that the parents don't read social media, Sky news tracked one down, who later killed herself.
imho - Sky news shouldn't have got involved.



A 63-year-old woman who was accused of targeting internet abuse at the family of Madeleine McCann has been found dead in a hotel.
Brenda Leyland, from Burton Overy, Leicestershire, was accused of being one of the so-called "trolls" directing abusive messages at the McCanns.
Her body was found days after she was confronted outside her home by a Sky News reporter.

Difficult case! The cadaver dogs showed a positive for a corpse having been in the McCanns hire car! Odds of another body having been in there???

But - according to their friends. The McCanns didn't have a time window to dispose of a body. swung me to innocent, if true.

Overall. I think there is a chance they sedated her and she died, as she woke the night before and was upset they were out. I definitely don't believe a burglar took her on the way out, as some have suggested.

What's your take?

Interesting facts. No one knows how they would react in the circumstances I guess, but I was always uneasy about the wife's kind of detached persona in the aftermath. If I was taking the angle that they did it, I would say it was the wife in some sort of temper fit and the husband has covered up for her.

I never warmed to them as a couple, to me they came across as a bit cold or aloof. At the very least it was a very bad bit of parenting to leave the kid unattended so they could enjoy themselves, what would it have cost to get a baby sitter. I don't think I ever heard them acknowledge they were wrong to do that, I think that's why a fair amount of people felt strongly negative towards them.

Sadly I doubt we'll never know what happened to their daughter.
