Gofund my business cos this Aussie nomad can't. (Kampot)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Gofund my business cos this Aussie nomad can't. (Kampot)

Post by bartender3042 »

I'll just leave this here for you folks to dissect.
Brief, one day, history. His story changed throughout the day, as did his alleged funding breakdown.
As has the comments section.

This is funny. Love the comments, seems altruism among soap dodgers only goes so far.

I hope he’s not a teacher himself as his English is terrible.
Assuming he’s a native English speaker I guess he was brought up in a similar hippy commune.

50 % goes to support local school;
25 % abandoned animals support;

It is nice to see that poor kid's education rates so much higher than abandoned animals.

50 % goes to support local school;
25 % abandoned animals support;
10 % goes toward supporting the local events;
10 % will be used to NomadWS;
5 % to cover all processing and administrative fees by Gofundme;
Cutting the fluffy bullshit they claim to need $1000 but ask for $10,000. "Supporting the local events" what does that even mean?

That is bollocks, i have lived in "communes" back in the day, they were usually educated middle class types.
