Change Thai baht to USD. Change in Thailand or at the airport PP?

I have Thai baht and would like to change it into USD. Should I do this in Thailand or at the airport in PP?
Where can I get better conditions? Or does it not matter? This is my first time in Cambodia.

Don't ever change money in an airport unless you're forced into it.

If doing Visa on Arrival you will need some USD cash at immigration.
The biggest bank here has a rate of 37.64 today as a guide.

I got 36.8 buying baht today

ask someone in Thailand what the rate is
compare it to what they offer at the changers in PP

I would think u will get a better rate buying thai baht with $$ in Thailand

Some currency exchange companies in Thailand, especially SuperRich, have laser thin spreads for exchanging USD.

That would be hard to beat from my experience. But while you're still in Cambodia, you can ask around for exchange rates and compare them with the current rates posted on SuperRich's website.
