No helmet and Crocs? Perfect attire.

Seems the norm for barangs for some reasonhanno wrote:No helmet and Crocs? Perfect attire.
Riding around Phnom Penh I see a large percentage of locals wearing helmets. Certainly a vast improvement from a few years ago. However apart from Barangs with bigger or more expensive bikes the majority who are driving small scooters and the like do not as a rule wear helmets. Why I do not know.

Potential ID of Houssine Kaddachi, French Tunisian from Sihanoukville Expats FB Page:
Sibel Fischer
2 hrs · Sihanoukville
Urgent information needed!!!
Does anybody know 'Hossain' (he calls himself also Steve McQueen)? He had a big accident (his situation is very critical). We have to figure out his hotel/ where was he staying, find some personal information and get in touch with his family.
We found a key with a red tag with room-no. 403 in his pockets (see foto).
Thx!

Saw him last night leaving serendipity and he said he was heading to victory hill to meet some friends. His Facebook name is houssine Kaddachi. He has told me before that he is French/Tunisian. Might be good to contact the French embassy. He used to work for the dive shop, I think the owner's name is Dennis. Maybe he can help with more info?

I think I met the guy before on VH but not entirely sure. I remember thinking that french "chav" had all the attributes of the "soon to feel the pain" youngish knows shit expat.

Thanks CPT, and good on you Barang Del Slengso.
Presumably he's still unconscious if he's unable to tell anyone where he's staying. Looking worse by the hour.

Re: Foreigner Seriously Injured in Motorbike Crash in Sihanoukville
Calling the ambulance driver on behalf of the french warden, he was taken to Phnom Penh, khema clinic (small doubt on the clinic since driver had a thick north accent, and thick cambodian head too as when not responsive to feedback requests).
If so it is a good choice for head trauma, I visited them on several occasions for the exact same kind of cases.
Oddly enough all of them from otres road accidents, including my best friend here. This one is a killer.
