Importing horses from overseas
Importing horses from overseas
Is it possible to import horses and other livestock into Cambodia from overseas (as well as cats/dogs)? I'm wondering whether the following animals can be imported:
Horses
Pigs
Goats
Alpacas
Cattle (cows)
If importation is implausible, are there any places within Cambodia where these animals can be purchased? If so, do they have websites?

yes they can and fairly easily.
frozen embryos or semen would be the way to go for cattle and pigs

Horse-shit is free but one tips the stableboys for showing you where the piles of shit are.
As to milk production here - compared to Thailand - the issue is one of the economies of scale the
Thai producers enjoy. Absurdly, it is cheaper to buy milk from New Zealand than milk produced 20km from
the supermarket.
