Body of Young Foreigner Found Dead at The Beach, Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville, Police said, the body of an identified young foreigner approximately 20 years old was found floating by people around 11:30 on 03 July 2016. The Body was found in Prek Treng beach located in O'Tress commune, Stung Hav district. According to police, the foreigner might died from drowning as there was no marks or wounds found on the body.

Not much more information: European type aged about 30 was found in the sea at Otres, presumably drowned.
Sihanoukville: On July 3, 2016 at 11 and 00 am, in the coastal village of Prek Treng commune 4 Oh juggle Stung Hav district alien bodies spotted floating at sea. The bodies are not yet known
Identity, male, about 30 years (European). A review of the relevant bodies died from drowning forces have been brought up in the provincial hospital and continue the search for identity.

Unfortunate.
Prek Treng is a little ways out of town and almost always deserted. (Also quite shallow close in to shore.) Perhaps tried swimming out past the shallows alone and got caught in the current.

Not meaning to be horrid or hateful, but I have seen some live specimens washed up on the beaches here that could also have been dead, but for their good luck.
Not saying that this is the case here but swimming alone at night really off your face can be dangerous. Anywhere.
