This is a tragic story. But let's not jump to conclusions here. I'd imagine the family would like to know what was in Mr. Keith's body, and what was he presribed, and what did he take since getting there, seemingly just a day before as article indicates.

Why would someone do an elaborate plan to come half way around the world to his home and do this. For family sake, hope it was accidental at worst and heart attack at best. They probably hope that it wasn't on purpose.

Question to the locals, what is Mall Dolphin? Is that something that to get in Cambodia, or is it a nick name for an American drug. In looking it up, I found nothing, just Dolphin Mall in Miami, Florida, US. A big shopping plaza mall.

I just hope they were / are comprehensive in their investigation and autopsy.

There's just a couple holes here. It does appear like your ordinary OD, but they didn't go into room and found him at 4pm, doesn't cleaning staff, housemaid, housekeeping, maid, chambermaid, whatever it's called there. Doesn't someone start knocking around 1pm to clean and have it ready for when a typical guest arrives back at the room. Did they see someone with him. It implies he was traveling along, so was there a local to "Accompany" him.

What does Finney American mean? That was in the translate link. Interesting if there are more to read as the story unfolds.

Highly unlikely that there will be any more story to unfold.

As for 'Mall dolphin' and 'Finney', they are a bad translation due to the Khmer writers bad spelling. Same word in both cases.

He should have written ម័រហ្វីន, which translates as morphine, but he wrote ម៉ហ្វីន.
