The Body of a Foreigner Found Floating in The Pond In Bavet City
According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, A shocking moment happened when villagers spotted the body of a foreigner floating in the river. It's believed it was murdering. Later police was informed to come to check the body. The body was found around 8:15 am on 03 March 2016 in a pound in the special economic zone, High Palace located in Chrok Mtes district, Bavet city.
Police said, the identity of the foreigner is unknown and is approximately 38 to 40 years old. He died from drowning. According to autopsy, no marks and bruises found on the body of the foreigner, so it wasn't a murder. The body has been buried in Sovan Ream pagoda, as the body was swollen and started to smell. The foreigner might had died a few days ago. Police is still looking for the relative of the foreigner.
Villagers left in doubt. They thought it is not reasonable for a foreigner to wander around and fall into the pond and died from drowning. They wanted police to report it the court to have an investigation on this case or report it to Vietnam embassy as they believed that the foreigner is Vietnamese or Chinese national.
