Police arrested 23 Chinese involving in digital kidnapping
Svay Rieng: According to Kampuchea Thmey News, around 9:00 on 29 August 2015, police raided into a mansion belongs to Mr. Kong Sophara, the officer at provincial taxation, located in Ta Chou village, Svay Ter district, Svay Rieng City, Svay Rieng province. As a result, during the raid, police managed to arrest 23 Chinese (4 female) and found some other equipment and including a Cambodian woman who work as cook. Police confirmed that they are involving in digital kidnapping.

Not long ago a got an emailed traffic infringement form the Australian federal police with 7 days to pay. It asked me to click on a link to see the details, very well presented. I looked it up on the internet & it was the scam targeting businesses that locks up your computer with your client details then you must pay a fee of approx $3000 to have it freed.

You're talking about ransomware, this was a VoIP scam ring.
