A woman jumped off from the second floor as response to her envious husband
Phnom Penh: According to Arey News, A woman decided to kill herself by jumping off the second floor, but she ended up landing on the roof of the front yard which resulting in slight injury. It’s believed that she was upset with her envious and drunkard husband.
This shock event happened around 10:30 pm on 14 August 2015 at the rented room on the second floor located in Damnak Thom Bpee village, Beton Street, Steng Meanchey commune, Meanchey district, Phnom Penh City.
The woman requested to be anonymous. She is about 30 years old and work in massage and cupping parlor. Her husband is a construction worker. They both live together in that rented room.
Normally this couple always had argument with one other as the husband is not feeling well for his wife working in the massage and cupping parlor.
Before it happened, the couple was parting with 4 of their friends and cousins. After everyone left for home, the couple started having argument with each other which caused the wife to jump off the house. After jumping, neighbor came to see and helped lift her up, but she was not brought to the hospital as she had small injury. Then, they locked up the door and remained silent which caused neighbor to believe that they were ashamed with what they have done.
