Key Points:
- All travelers must complete an online e-immigration application within 7 days of arrival
- Application can be done via the e-immigration app or website (arrival.gov.kh)
- E-arrival card replaces traditional paper forms for immigration, health, and customs
- Visas are still required and can be obtained in advance or on arrival
- Fast Track Visa service remains available, but e-immigration process is still mandatory

How to Apply:
1. Download the e-immigration app (available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store) or visit the website
2. Register by uploading a photo and passport information
3. Complete the e-arrival card, including travel details, health, and customs declarations
4. Save the generated QR code on your phone for verification purposes

Important Reminders:
- Complete the e-immigration application within 7 days of arrival
- If not completed before arrival, use the tablets provided in the arrivals hall
- Immigration officers will assist Fast Track Visa users with the e-immigration process

Cambodia's new e-immigration system is a significant step towards modernizing border control and providing a hassle-free experience for visitors. By embracing digital solutions, the country aims to reduce paperwork and streamline the arrival process, benefiting both travelers and immigration officials.

As you prepare for your trip to Cambodia, familiarize yourself with the new e-immigration procedures to ensure a smooth and seamless entry into the country. Stay informed and enjoy your visit to the Kingdom of Wonder!

As I mentioned in the thread linked below, the app is very user friendly, simple to use. For those who don't use smart devices, there is a desktop version, and apparently they now will have tablets in the arrivals hall (fk that - get it done before you arrive).

It's very easy to set up. If it is anything like the Indonesian equivalent it should work quite well

Apparently 'not yet'.
Can you imagine the border officials at Poipet helpfully assisting tourists to use a tablet to complete their e-arrival?

Haha, good joke. Yesterday I was happy that they closed the door after I slipped into the plane. The whole system was down (nationwide) and a tsunami of travelers approached the immigration officers. Additionally they were not able to verify that you had entered legally, if you had arrived by the automated immigration system, so they requested from you either the email that gets sent to the address you had provided when applying for the visa, or your old boarding pass. If you had neither of that, you were guided to the (totally overcrowded) head of immigration office, where they took you apart, until they had enough evidence, that you arrived legally
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over

A step in the right direction. Now hopefully someday same app can be used for visa renewals. Paid $290 for ER visa renewal though agent.

Are they simultaneously using the e-system and the paper system at the moment? I arrive at 9am on July 1st, and I don't like being a front runner in anything techy; I don't want to be the Betamax guy.

Hopefully, the airline will still give out the paper forms so I can have a backup.
