Motive Unclear in Sihanoukville Shooting

Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville): Major General Chuon Narin, Sihanoukville Provincial Police Commissioner, has said that Sihanoukville police have arrested two male suspects for a shooting that was reported on the night of June 08, 2023 at 21:40 pm, at Ochheuteal beach in Sihanoukville.
Two unidentified suspects riding a black Honda C125 motorcycle, with an unidentified license plate, fired off several shots at a silver Prius, with license plate number 2B-6673, in Preah Sihanouk and fled immediately.
After receiving the information, the occupants of the car were questioned by Sihanoukville police, and two men were taken into custody that very evening at around 1am. The motive for the shooting remains unknown, but several shots were aimed directly at the Prius.
Police confiscated a K49 handgun, some bullets, and other items. The two male suspects have now been transported to the Sihanoukville Provincial Police Headquarters for further proceedings
