Floating Corpse Found by Kampong Cham Fisherman

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On June 1, 2023, at 10:00am, a Vietnamese man who was fishing in Phteah Kandal commune, Kampong Cham province, found a dead body floating close to the riverbank.
The fisherman immediately called the police, and after receiving the information, Brigadier General Heng Vuthy, Kampong Cham Provincial Police Commissioner, ordered a specialized force to the scene to examine the body.
However, up until the evening of 1 June, the deceased remains unidentified; the corpse was swollen, (which means it had been in the water for some time), without a shirt, wearing only black shorts, with tattoos across the chest. The Srey Santhor District Police Inspectorate of Kampong Cham Provincial Police therefore requests all members of the public, especially those who use social media, to help spread the word to people who may have lost a member of their family recently.
