Illegal Chinese Casino Operating by Sen Sok Flyover

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Sen Sok residents say that they have repeatedly reported an illegal gambling den to the police, located at the Golden Port Hotel, near the flyover at Phsar Dei Huy, Norpreet Street in Sangkat Teuk Thla, Khan Sen Sok. However, no action has been taken by the district authorities, even though the Prime Minister himself has ordered that all illegal casinos and betting shops must be closed down.
According to the source, the gambling den deals in thousands of dollars, and most of the players are Chinese. There are guards at the doors to keep people out, and the Sen Sok district authorities do not dare to go inside, so the casino is permitted to remain open because of some very influential people.
Citizens have now requested through the media that the relevant higher authorities investigate this case, and take action to close the illegal gambling rooms located at the Golden Port Hotel at the Phsar Dei Huy flyover.
