Man's Corpse Found in Forest; Foul Play Suspected

Cambodia News, (Pursat Province): A preliminary source of information has reported that the body of a man was found this morning in the jungle in Pursat province. On the morning of Tuesday, May 23, 2023, some people from Phnom Kravanh district reported finding a rotting body in the bush, and after this discovery was reported, a woman who had been looking for her son for several days, recognized the corpse as her missing son, Phon Sna.
Police say that after an examination of the body, they discovered that the man died of blows to the head by a hard instrument and that he was killed at least 48 hours beforehand. They have opened a murder investigation and are searching for suspects who may have gone fishing with him a few days earlier.
The remains of the deceased man have been restored to his family
