Fatal Electrocution on Market Roof

Cambodia News (Battambang): On the morning of 29 March 2023, the National Police General Commission, in Dangkot Thnong village, Ta Kream commune, Banan district, Battambang province reported a serious incident where an electric shock killed one man and left another seriously injured.
According to the police, the two victims went to work on the roof of a market owned by Sok Sambo, a 37-year-old female in Group 7, Dangkot Thnong Village, Banan District, Battambang Province. The deceased man was identified as 36 year old Khon Ken, and the other victim, Sok Samdy, aged 34, was taken to Battambang Provincial Referral Hospital.
Following the incident report, the Banan District Police Inspector sent a professional force to investigate and determine the cause of electric shock. After examining the scene and the body, as well as questioning witnesses around the scene, the police team concluded that the deceased man, Khon Ken, was indeed electrocuted. RIP.
