Police Bust Guest House Drug Dealers

Cambodia News (Pursat): On Thursday, 10 March 2023, after receiving an anonymous tip-off from the public, the Pursat Provincial Prosecutor, Colonel Keo Sary, led police forces in a raid on a guesthouse in a search for drugs. It was reported that there were a lot of drug addicts and shady characters visiting one paricular room in the guest house at all hours of the night.
As a result, at 11:05 a.m that day, police raided Room 113 of Rolap Guesthouse located in Po Andot Village, Sangkat Roleap, Pursat Province, and arrested a couple of suspects. Police said that the two suspects arrested for drug trafficking were a 37-year-old man Un Phalla, who was just released from prison after serving 2 years, and a 21 year-old woman, Keo Saury from Phteah Kor village.
Confiscated items include 12 packets of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine, (equivalent to 90.02 grams), electronic scales for weighing, 6 mobile phones, 1 metal trigger, red-black bag, 1 pair of red scissors, 1 motorcycle.
The suspects and the exhibits have been taken to the Pursat City Police Inspectorate for further investigation.
