Truck Full of Goods and Petrol Cans Explodes

Cambodia News, Siem Reap Province: According to a source from Mr. So Platon, the governor of Prasat Bakong district, at noon,on the 4th February, 2023, Meas Pov, male, 64 years old, was driving a green Hyundai truck with license plate Siem Reap 2C-0373 when it was suddenly completely engulfed in flames. This event occured along National Road 6, 3 km from Rolous Khang Lech village, Rolous commune, Prasat Bakong district, in Siem Reap province. The reason for the explosion is unknown.
The truck owner said that the vehicle was loaded up with a refrigerator, a washing machine, 10 bags of fish feed, 10 cans of gasoline, 50 cans of paint spray, car tires, car parts and motorcycle parts. He said that he lost more than 20,000 dollars worth of goods in the fire.
Homeowners and residents helped put out the fire, and a fire truck from Prasat Bakong District Police Inspector came out to intervene. The blaze was extinguished at 1:30 pm and did not spread further.
