Teenage Boy Drowns Trying to Save his Sister

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): According to a social media post, a teenage boy and his sister died in a tragic drowning accident recently in a river.
The two of them were swept away by the current and drowned, after the girl fell into the river and her brother jumped in, trying to save his sister. Unfortunately, the river was turbulent, and they were swept away by the strong current; it is not sure that either of them could swim. The bodies of the two teenagers were found downstream later, after a local search, and were then given to the family for the funeral in Katei village near Thmei Borkaer village.
