4 Vietnamese Men Arrested in Bavet Drug Raid

Cambodia News, (Svay Rieng Province): Authorities of the Svay Rieng Provincial Gendarmerie sent four suspects to the Provincial Court in connection with a case of illegal possession and trafficking of drugs on January 24, 2023.
According to the Svay Rieng Provincial Gendarmerie, the arrested suspects are:
-First name: Pho Sunva, 19 years old, unreliable occupation, Vietnamese, currently living in a rented room in Bavet Kandal village, Bavet city, Svay Rieng province.
-Second, his name is Phoeung Tun Anh, 27 years old. Occupation, none. Same address as above.
-Third, Nguyen Van Nhanh, 31 years old, unspecified occupation, Vietnamese, same address.
-Fourth, name: Nguyen Toeng An, male, 32 years old, unreliable occupation, Vietnamese, same address.
Sources said that at 9:30 pm on January 21 and 22, 2023, the Department of Crime Investigation and Suppression, in cooperation with the Bavet City Gendarmerie, led by Ms. Vutha, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Gendarmerie, conducted a crackdown on drug trafficking and illegal use of drugs in front of the Heng Heng Business Center Company in Bavet Kandal Village.
Police detained the four suspects, interrogating them, and confiscating a number of exhibits in their possession, including: 15 small packs of white powder suspected to be drugs ready to sell, weighing 5.75 grams, another 3 packs of white powder suspected to be drugs weighing 1.94 grams, some pink pills, some banana colored pills, two passports, 5 mobile phones and some equipment for using drugs.
