Bag Snatcher Gets Bagged !

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): The patrol force of the Bureau of Minor Offenses of the Criminal Department, led by Colonel But Vannrath, arrested a suspect after he rode up on a motorcycle to seize a woman's handbag as she was riding her motorbike in Sangkat Boeung Salang, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, on the afternoon of September 30, 2022.
According to the police, the suspect is Touch Vicheka, a 22-year-old Cambodian man who works at a club and lives around the concrete road in Kork Roka commune, Prek Pnov district.
Police said that on September 30, 2022, the patrol force of the Bureau of Minor Offenses of the Criminal Department,were patrolling along in Tuol Kork district, when they heard that a suspect riding a motorcycle had seized a handbag from a young woman who was also riding a motorcycle in the area.
Immediately, the specialized forces chased down the suspect, who ran into the Sre Por Guesthouse, which was then surrounded by police and the above suspect was arrested.
Police confiscated: 1- A white Honda Scope motorcycle with license plate Phnom Penh 1JR-0793 (belonging to the suspect).
2- a black handbag (belonging to the victim).
Currently, the competent authorities of the Bureau of Minor Offenses of the Criminal Department have taken the suspect for questioning.
