Uncle Kills Toddler in Brutal Assault

Cambodia News, Kampong Speu: A 24-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of an 18-month-old child in Kampong Speu province.
On September 22, 2022, the little girl was behind her house when her 24-year-old uncle attacked her (for reasons that are not mentioned.)
The child suffered serious head injuries that left her dead. The suspect was captured and detained by the victim's family until the police arrived.
After receiving the information, the Homicide Investigation Team (HIT) and the Scientific Technical Team (FST) of the Child Protection Unit (CPU), in collaboration with the Kampong Speu Provincial Police, went to the scene. They conducted an examination of the site and an autopsy of the child's body was performed at the scene.
The 24-year-old man will appear at Kampong Speu Provincial Court to face charges of premeditated murder.
