Thieves Break Car, while Owner has Bathroom Break

Cambodia News, Kampong Cham: On August 8, 2022 in Sangkat Veal Vong, Kampong Cham City, there was a surprise in an unexpected case where a car was robbed by two thieves, who broke the window and collected nearly 20,000 dollars, while the car owner was being sick in the bathroom next to the car.
According to preliminary information shared on social media, the thieves rode up on a motorcycle, smashed the window of a luxury Lexus car, and stole the 80 million riels cash that were inside the car. The car owner was being sick in the bathroom, and so was not able to react in time even though he was close by, and the thieves made their escape successfully with the money, on their motorbike with no plates.
The victim of the theft reported the case to the Kampong Cham police who are now investigating.
It is suspected that the attack was planned by someone who knew that the victim was carrying a large sum of money in his car.
