Police Clear Out Homeless Families from Phnom Penh Street

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 20, 2022, at 9:30 am, on street 473, village 1, and street 472 corner of Street 123, the city police rounded up 8 homeless families and chased them from the makeshift shelters which were their only homes, planted along the walls of side streets in Toul Tom Poung 1, Phnom Penh.
When questioned, the authorities were unable to identify the people concerned, or to say where they are supposed to move to.
