77Yo Woman Loses Everything When Son Burns Down her House

Cambodia News (Takeo Province): On January 17, 2022, in Thmey village, Komarachea commune, Bati district, Takeo province, a 36-year-old man, Men Touc, set his mother's house on fire. The poor widowed mother was identified as Put Nget, a 77-year-old farmer, who lost most of her worldly possessions when the 5x6m wooden house was completely burnt to the ground.
Witnesses say that the suspect was extremely drunk at the time, but nobody knows the real motive for the destruction.
The suspect was detained by the police for further proceedings.
