Cambodia News (Kompong Speu Province): On September 11, 2021, in Tropang Russey village, in Kampong Speu province, a 33-year-old man threw a hoe at a 13-year-old boy and injured him on the head.
The victim's mother, a 49-year-old woman, Chen Chrerm, went to the police station in Sambor commune to file a police report, but she was told by the head police to file the report the next day and to bring the boy in the next day as well to check how bad the injuries were.

The mother was furious and requested the head of the province to find justice for her son, because he was attacked and injured for no reason, and the police have not detained or arrested the suspect, nor have they accepted her complaint and report.

What is the point of being police if you have to do as told by civilians ?

Apparently she didn’t pay the police enough to do something.

Only social media and public humiliation will motivate the higher authorities to make the police do something.
