More Marijuana Goes Up in Smoke

Cambodia News, (Takeo Province): On July 25, 2021, the authorities, following the instructions and directives of Major General Sok Samnang, Commissioner of Takeo Provincial Police, have conducted yet another crack down on illegal marijuana growing in Takeo province.
The marijuana plants were illegally planted by criminals at 13 locations, with 9 water reservoirs at the Chinese Cave Dop and Damrei Leang Dop, located in Preah Bat Choan Chum Commune, Kirivong District, covering an area of ​​approximately 2632 square meters. The plants were all destroyed by being burnt at the site.
Specialist forces are searching for the site owner, a cannabis grower, to bring him to justice.
