Unidentified Man Attacked by a Horde with Swords in Daun Penh Street

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On the night of July 12, 2021, a group of three or four people armed with swords and knives were seen running after a young man on Street 19 to the front of Wat Saravan in Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
The victim ran up the stairs of a house in front of the pagoda to escape his attackers, but the suspects followed him upstairs and attacked him with swords on the second floor. The victim, who was severely injured and fainted from blood loss, was taken away for emergency medical treatment.
Immediately after the gory crime, the armed gang fled the scene and disappeared. Police are still searching for them; they were not recognized by the local people who witnessed the attack.
