Truck Reverses into House; 1 Child Dead and 4 Injured

Cambodia News (Kandal Province): On June 08, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. in Kandal village, Koh Choram commune, Ksach Kandal district, Kandal province,a 38 -year-old man named Kes Koy reversed his truck and hit the staircase in front of a house, causing the house to fall down and crush a little girl to death, and injuring 4 other children. After the incident, the driver ran away.
The 5 victims were:
Somnang Somavuthey a 6-year-old girl who died
Somnang Panha, a 7-year-old who was injured on the head
Yoan Raksa, a 10-year-old who was also injured on the head
Rithy Sokkhim, a 6-year-old girl who was injured on the eyebrows
Rithy Vanndy, a 7-year-old boy with minor injuries
There was also 1 truck, 1 motorbike, 1 bike and a house damaged in the accident. The local police have investigated the scene and towed the truck away for further investigation.
