47 Workers Injured in Factory Truck Crash

Cambodia News (Kampong Chhnang): This morning, on May 13, 2021, at 6:15 am, a factory truck drove off the road causing 47 people to get injured, on street 137 in Samaki district, Kampong Chhnang.
The truck, plate 3D-5860, was being driven in an east to west direction, taking a full load of workers to the factory, when suddenly it left the road and crashed into some trees. The motive for the accident is uncertain. The truck driver, 35-year-old Chhoeun Chhonran, away from the scene, leaving 47 injured workers.
After the incident, the police checked the accident and evacuated the victims to hospital. The truck was seized as evidence.
