Cambodia News (Kampong Speu): A man was arrested by the Royal Gendarmerie with an AK47 gun and 58 bullets on May 8, 2021, in Sre Ken village, Oral district, Kampong Speu.

The suspect was identified as Choun Cheang, a 41-year-old man, a farmer, who was charged with illegal ownership of an AK47 gun and ammunition. The suspect with the evidence was sent to the Royal Gendarmerie in Kampong Speu for case preparation.

Following an interrogation by the local police, the suspect admitted to the crime where he illegally possessed an AK 47 with 26 bullets, and admitted that he had fired 3 times, but only twice with success.

Khmers should stay away of guns and motor vehicles its not their bag.

That's an AKMS.

I hardly see its relevance to the story, but it seems to be true, the farmer is "in good condition".
