These picture have been posted and shared around on facebook for awhile. It drew the attention from many Cambodian especially facebookers, as the house was covered and decorated with the valuable timbers in Cambodia. People has been wondering who is the owner of that house. Then a few later, the secret emerged. The house owns by a doctor couple. However, they didn't build it by themselves. They bought it from other people. According to the anonymous source, the house previously owns and built by the former Phnom Penh governor, HE Chea Sophara. The house is approximately 50 to 60 million USD.

Talking of giant uncomfortable wooden chairs like those in the photo - does anyone know why they are made like this ? ie F'king impossible to sit in.
I always thought they were some kind of status symbol since they are really not made for comfort.

But those chairs are dangerous - they don't stop moving and they make you spill your drink.
