Frenchman, JEAN CLAUDE LOUIS GALLAY, Passed Away in Phnom Penh

Cambodia (Phnom Penh): On February 3, 2021, at 3:15 pm, the body of a 70-year-old French man, JEAN CLAUDE LOUIS GALLAY, was found in his rented house on the street 144, Sangkat Psar Kandal1, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
According to Tim Sopheak, the house manager, the Frenchman came to stay at the rented house about a year ago. On February 3, at 2 pm, the neighbor reported that they hadn't seen Jean-Claude that day. So then, the house manager knocked on the door, but there was no reply, so he called the police to check the room. They decided to unlock the door and found the victim had passed away.
The local police informed the prosecutor, who called in the scientific-technical police, the criminal police, the Immigration Department and the autopsy teams to examine the body at the scene. After the examination, the police concluded that the victim had died of a heart attack.
The body was taken to the Khmer Soviet hospital. Condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
