Thieves Arrested at Angkor Wat Heritage Site
Cambodia News, Siem Reap: Angkor Wat provincial heritage protection officers arrested two men on December 13, 2020, in the Preah Khan temple area on suspicion of trying to steal artefacts.
A heritage protection police officer said that at around 10am on December 12, his forces patrolled around and inside the Preah Khan Temple and came across the suspects on two motorcycles with artefact detection tools.
The confiscated evidence included two detection tools, a mobile phone, two long-knives, one pickaxe, a battery and a backpack.
