Apparently the wife of Okhna of prisons in Cambodia tested positive after arriving from a trip overseas.

She visited Aeon Mall 1 and Thai Huot before she got the positive test. Now both are closed for deep cleaning. Not sure if this is true or not. But more locals are wearing masks now.

Now she is quarantined at home. With her driver driving her around still. And massaging her when she walks too much. And the maids and cooks still putting on clothes for her and cooking food for her. Then going back home to their families afterwards.

I heard 5 confirmed cases now and concerns have spread to multiple provinces. Even talk of possibly locking down PP again

Yes, the director of prisons and 4 of his family have tested positive. No word about staff or inmates of prisons.
The Director traveled to Mondulkiri recently.

When will they get it into their heads that "important people" need to do all the same quarantine shit as the riff raff?

supposedly she had symptoms for 10 days!!! and still was out and about
The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Ms. Youk Sambath said that the Cambodian woman was tested positive for COVID-19 on the evening of November 28, 2020, after she developed suspicious symptoms. The Ministry of Health is now tracing people who may have come into contact with her at Aeon 1 to test and isolate.
KOHSANTEPHEAP reports that the woman had been suffering from mild symptoms for 10 days before she went for a test. The Ministry of Health is also concerned as this is a local infection, and not an imported case.
This is not good....

Have to agree with Richard on this. I can see this being used as a pretext for another shutdown. The consequences could be dire. Crime, civil unrest and a dead economy are just around the corner.

Don't be so dramatic.

Schools are to remain open apart from the Aii campus her son attends and she collected him from.

It's not her fault. How was she to know that the virus affects wives of high ranking officials in the same way it affects everyone else?

Oh no, I shop there! I'm not so worried about catching the virus, as getting quarantined, just for shopping.
