Man Arrested for Pretending to be a Policeman

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A 21-year-old man, named Pang Kaktika, was arrested in Kampuchea Krom road, street 253, Sangkat Tuek Laok, Khan Tol Kok, Phnom Penh, for pretending as a police officer named Sambath Kakkada. The suspect's case was submitted to the court on September 30, 2020.
According to the investigation by a group of reporters at the Phnom Penh police station, the suspect made a fake account and put the profile name Phnom Penh police station and pretended to be a police officer. So the reporter team informed the criminal department, who then arrested the suspect.
The police confiscated 5 Icoms, 1 iPhone 6, 3 pairs of handcuffs, two dark green uniforms which had the name Sombath Kakkada, ID no. 104601, a pair of police suite, a police T-shirt, a fake gun, a gun case, a sword, a metal stick, four police hats, a belt, and various other items.
