Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu): On the morning of April 16, 2022, after interrogating a man accused of rape in Kampong Speu province, the authorities built a case to send the suspect to the prosecutor's office for further action.
According to a source from the criminal police in Kong Pisey district, the perpetrator was named Huy Ni, a 30-year-old man living in Chas village, Prey Nheat commune, Srok district. Kong Pisey, Kampong Speu Province.

On the morning of April 15, 2022, the suspect entered the house of the victim, a 30-year-old woman, and raped her in the kitchen. The woman's mother saw that her daughter had been attacked, so she called to all the villagers to chase after the man, but the suspect got away on his motorbike. The whole village was in an uproar with people running everywhere, when suddenly, the rapist returned to the village on his motorbike. The villagers chased the suspect at the western end of Chambok Kear village and greeted the suspect with strong hands and then handed him over to the authorities.

The suspect confessed in front of all the people in the village that he used to be in a drug rehabilitation center twice already, and before the incident, he was going to get some drugs when he saw the victim at her house, and he tricked her and raped her.
After the first rape, he rode away on his motorcycle without anyone knowing, but then suddenly he remembered that he wanted to have sex again, so he turned the motorcycle around to go back to act again, but was surrounded by villagers who grabbed him and handed him over to the authorities.
