Young Woman Beaten Up and Robbed by Gangsters

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On May 22, 2020, at 12:30 am, a group of 8 male suspects attacked a 20-year-old woman, who was returning home alone, in order to rob her in Sangkat Kbal Koh, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.
Before the incident, the victim was leaving her workplace to return home, when a group of eight men on 4 motorbikes drove up and attacked her. They beat her up and took her into the bushes and searched her for money. They found US$100 and stole it from the victim and ran away.

The next morning, at 11am, the police arrested one of gang, named Chenda Tola, 21 years old, a barber by trade, with a motorbike in Sangkat Prek Ek, Khan Chbar Ampov, and they sent him to Khan Chbar Ampov police station for questioning.

Wow. Read what you wrote, doc - a woman was assaulted by a band of thugs. The report says that eight of them packed together and attacked a woman because she was alone. By sheer numbers, they took her and robbed her of all her money. Just because she wasn't raped and punched in the face and is still alive does not mean that this is not a serious assault.
Seriously, fk those guys. They deserve jail.
