Cambodian Mystery Man in Handcuffs Crossed the Jungle from Thailand

Cambodia News, Koh Kong: On April 15, 2020, Mondul Seima district police found a Cambodian man who was walking through the jungle from Thailand (Trat province) into Cambodia (Koh Kong province) with handcuffs and is also wounded.
The 34-year-old man, who remains unidentified, says that he lives in Prey Svay village, Chrey Khmum commune, Kandieng district, Prey Veng province.
The provincial police have removed the man's handcuffs and treated his wounds. For the moment, it is unclear whether the man is a victim of slavery or an escaped prisoner. He is being assisted by the local Koh Kong authorities.
