Cambodia News, Svay Rieng Province: An incident of extreme domestic violence occured at 5:45 pm on 11 April 2020 at Kok Sre Village, Svay Rieng Province, when a son attacked his mother with a meat cleaver because she told him off.

The woman was seriously injured after receiving several blows to the head and hands, when her son, named as Oeun Sok Full, 27, pulled out a meat cleaver and attacked his 48-year-old mother because she had scolded him for behaving badly in the village.

The suspect escaped immediately, leaving his injured mother at the scene. She was later sent to the Svay Rieng Provincial Referral Hospital by ambulance, while the police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.

I hope she survives and they have the death penalty here (wishful thinking on my part)

No death penalty since 1989.

I think life in a Cambodian prison might be worse than a death penalty. I hope they catch the fucking scumbag.

I believe the world was a better place when the law was an eye for an eye or strict laws, in any country. I do not care what country it happens in- if a man hurts women, they are not a man. This is a special case because it’s committed against his own mother, so let her be the judge. What she says should be the punishment will be true because she brought him into this world. Solomon’s decision. Sometimes courts and official judges just don’t cut it.
